A 10-year-old girl has died after a fire broke out at a shophouse at 278 River Valley Road, where education and enrichment classes for children are conducted. The incident occurred at about 9.45am on Tuesday (Apr 8) . According to SCDF, 20 people - five adults and 15 children - were taken to hospital, and 80 people in nearby premises were evacuated.
